Devon took her first yoga class with Kay Westcott over ten years ago and has been practicing ever since. She began hot yoga at YBC in 2007 and was trained to teach by Donald Card, the originator of the Your Hot Body workout. Devon taught this routine during summers and extended vacation while attending the University of Texas at Austin. In 2011 she became RYT 200 through training with Lex Gillan. Devon's classes encourage awakening one’s instinct to create mental, physical, and spiritual wellness on and off the mat. Her yoga philosophy promotes listening to the body, remembering to breathe, and bringing only love to the mat, rather than ego.
She consistently attends various yoga workshops to stay in a constant state of renewal.
When not in the hot room Devon enjoys reading, running, and French cinema.
